I am a Cameroonian by nationality and a Veterinary Doctor (DVM) from the University of Maiduguri, Nigeria; I also hold a Master’s Degree in Veterinary Epidemiology and Economics (MVEE) from The University of Nairobi, Kenya. I am passionate about OneHealth and the dynamics involved in disease transmission.
I am currently working as a Research Technician for our exciting project, based in Chad, on dog ecology and epidemiology. The project contributes to the Guinea Worm Global Eradication Program (GWEP) led by The Carter Center and World Health Organization (WHO). In this project I handle, collar and sample dogs and water bodies; I also collect, curate and prepare laboratory samples for further processing in the UK. Additionally, I conduct field surveys and liaise with Carter Center staff and other ministries in Chad.
